Partnering to Improve Health Sharing Expertise to Save Lives
With more than two decades of experience collaborating with ministries of health, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), United Nations agencies, faith-based groups, global businesses, and many other partners, CCP benefits from a wide ranging network of partners who share the same mission to improve health and save lives. As part of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, CCP remains a learning institution. More than 1,000 health professionals from developing countries have traveled to Baltimore to participate in state-of-the-art training courses. CCP has trained an additional 3,000 in regional or in-country programs. The heart of CCP activity is in field-based programs. The frequent exchange of information and perspectives between staff in Baltimore and in the field allows for experiential learning with mutual benefits for those involved. |
The director of the Bangladesh Center for Communication Programs, Mohammad Shahjahan, conducts a training workshop at the Center, which is one of several independent health communication organizations established by former CCP staff around the world. |
