The primary goal of the MCC – USAID Threshold Immunization Program (TIPS) is to raise immunization rates among rural children to 95% within two years. This requires the implementation of an integrated strategy that looks at strengthening the national and regional management and logistic systems (immunization management, logistics, and immunization information system), services provider’s skills and demand generation. As part of this project, CCP is collaborating with Abt Associates Inc. and CARE/Peru to support the MOH National Immunization Strategy in the design of a demand generation communication strategy to strengthen and increase effectiveness of “itinerant brigades."
