Overview
Faisons Ensemble (Let Us Act Together), a two-year project funded by the Research Triangle Institute (RTI), was designed to meet USAID’s objective of governance reform in Guinea. Led by BLANK, the project focused on governance reform in the health, education, agriculture and natural resource management sectors. CCP’s role focused on empowering citizens by increasing public access to information.
Accomplishments
- Advocated for a more open media environment and improving the media infrastructure and media skills through intensive capacity building.
- Designed multi-media communication interventions to improve Guineans’ knowledge of their rights and responsibilities as citizens.
- Used effective communication tools and materials to strengthen Guineans’ capacity to get involved and take action in democracy and governance.
