Welcome to the JHU/CCP Quality and Performanace Improvement Web page. The quality team is led by Arzum Ciloglu, Ph.D with support from Marian Amoa. Team members include communication health specialists from the regional and technical support divisions.
This site will highlight information available electronically on the myriad quality materials and activities that are ongoing at the Center. We will also provide links to quality of care information available from our friends, partners, and collaborators worldwide.
JHU/CCP is committed to improving both the ‘supply' of and ‘demand' for quality services. To date our activities have focussed on:

Using enter-education and mass media to improve the image of providers in their organizations and communities to model effective IPC skills and promote top performing service delivery sites;

Improving providers' and clients' communication skills through training/coaching and other reinforcing interventions like use of job aids, improved supervision, self-assessment and peer group work;

Mobilizing communities and clients to partner with program managers and providers in joint quality improvement efforts;

Generating community and client demand for improved quality and access to services;

Using a performance improvement approach to program design, implementation and monitoring; and Developing IEC materials and strategies to ensure informed choice.
