Overview
The Jordan Learning Environment: Technical Support Program (LETS) is a 5-year program funded by USAID that focuses on advancing student achievement and well-being by improving learning environments. Led by Creative Associates, the program employs a whole school model to effect positive behavior change at multiple levels – from institutions to communities and schools. The program will work in 320 public schools across Jordan to promote positive learning environments by addressing social and behavioral issues that inhibit learning and teaching. First, the program will identify resources and needs in schools through general and school-specific assessments. Findings from these assessments will inform the development of initiatives that will increase awareness of, commitment to, and capacity for positive behavior change. The program will also design quality assurance and accreditation systems in order to measure progress toward establishing positive learning environments.
