JHU∙CCP Announces Leadership Changes for the K4Health Project

K4Health is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and is designed to increase the use and dissemination of evidence-based, accurate and up-to-date information and knowledge to improve health service delivery and health outcomes worldwide. The K4Health platform facilitates how knowledge and information are captured, synthesized, adapted, shared and used.

With nearly two decades of experience as an innovator and a communicator, Mr. Bocock is a seasoned and creative leader in the fields of international development, knowledge management, communications and technology development. His worked has spanned more than 20 countries and has helped organizations develop solutions to information management, public health, business, policy, trade, operational, leadership and technology challenges. Mr. Bocock earned his BA in Communications from McGill University and his MBA in International Business and Strategy from Georgetown University.

Kirsten Böse now serves as Deputy Director of the K4Health Team. Ms. Böse is a public health and communication specialist with 20 years of experience developing and implementing projects in reproductive health/family planning, HIV/AIDS, malaria, child survival and adolescent health promotion. Over the last six years, she lived in Malawi and Tanzania where she was Chief of Party for USAID-funded programs. Ms. Böse earned her BA in Anthropology from Stanford University and her MHS in Maternal and Child Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

The Knowledge for Health team welcomes Piers and Kirsten to their new roles and looks forward to their dynamic leadership, effective management and innovative ideas.
