The issue of child marriage is a public health and development issue with detrimental consequences on children, families, communities and nations. Child Brides documents forced child marriages in India, Niger and Guatemala, and shows community members campaigning to end the practice. A partial screening of the documentary will be followed by a panel discussion with leading experts on child marriage. Speakers will include: Moderator Dr. Robert Blum, Department of Population, Family & Reproductive Health Reception to follow hosted by International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) in the courtyard just outside the auditorium.
