Internet access continues to be a challenge in many countries, so there is an existing process (using open source Server2Go technology) for capturing the contents on the web site and deploying the entire application (databases included) on either a CD or within a single compressed file for installation on a user’s computer. This process can be adopted within the country offices or centrally managed so that versions of the site can be released on a periodic basis. This technology has already been used in India and Cote d’Ivoire for successful SCOPE deployments.
