The Private Sector Initiative (PSI) The PSI campaign was designed to address the contraceptive medical information needs of private physicians and pharmacists and build demand for contraceptive services and products among consumers.
The Clinical Service Improvement (CSI) Project The CSI project has pioneered the concept of quality in family planning and reproductive health care in Egypt. Since its establishment in 1988 as a non-governmental institution, CSI has become a model in three areas:
- Improving service delivery through an emphasis on quality of care, attention to client needs, and sound management practices.
- Accurate management systems, including an automated Management Information System, which is now the prototype for all Egyptian agencies working in population.
- Achieving financial autonomy through cost-recovery efforts and self-financing efforts.

Men's Participation: Together for a Happy Family Together for a Happy Family was a comprehensive multi-media campaign that involved religious leaders, the royal family, and other key influential people to motivate men to discuss family planning issues with their spouses. Campaign objectives were to raise men's recognition of the benefits of family planning and encourage couples to use available services. It used a combination of community-based activities and mass media to reach Jordanian men with messages emphasizing the importance of spousal communication, equity among boy and girl children, modern contraceptive methods, and quality-of-life issues.
Jordan Youth Campaign Today's youth in Jordan face myriad challenges regarding RH/FP issues: lack of comprehensive programs, societal pressure to have children early in marriage, conflicting messages in the media. The Jordan Youth Strategy seeks to empower youth with RH/FP and life-planning information and skills to make informed choices.
