Activity Summary
HCP facilitated a participatory strategy development workshop in 2003 to build on the previous experience of the Aao Batein Karein Campaign of SIFPSA, which aimed to break the taboo of family planning in the state of Uttar Pradesh by motivating couples, providers and clients to talk about family planning. The revised 2003 communication strategy aimed to go beyond talking about FP to motivating people to use methods. It aslo aimed to build provider capacity to counsel clients appropriately and with quality standards.
