AIDS PREVENTION CAMPAIGN: Involving Family Planning Workers. 1988-1989. The purpose of this project was to assist the Peruvian Ministry of Health in an AIDS prevention campaign to inform adults in Lima about the prevalence of AIDS in Peru, HIV transmission routes, and prevention measures. The campaign produced TV and radio spots, claymation stills for cinemas, comic books, pamphlets and posters for health workers.

ANDREA: A TIME FOR LOVE - Sexual Responsibility on Prime-Time Television. 1998. Andrea is a five-episode prime-time television mini series created for broadcast in Peru. The storyline follows two young couples as they deal with the turbulence of their teen years, including romantic relationships and parental strife.

"ISABEL: Your Electronic Counselor" Makes Sex Education Accessible to Young People in Perú. 1997-Present. This project involved the design of an interactive multimedia CD-ROM to deliver family planning, reproductive health and sexuality information to youth in Peru, allowing dissemination of sensitive information while preserving the anonymity of the user.

JUNTOS DECIDIMOS CUANDO: "Together We Decide When" - A Nicaraguan Youth Campaign. 1997-1998. Juntos Decidimos, a national communication campaign in Nicaragua aiming to reduce adolescent pregnancy, was a project intended for youth between the ages of 15 -24. Several 30-second spots and other materials were produced.

"LAS MANITOS": An Integrated Mass Media Communication Campaign. 1993-1996. "Las Manitos" was an integrated mass media communication campaign designed to increase awareness of and generate demand for reproductive health services in Bolivia's urban centers.

The Reproductive Health Dialogue Continues: PIEL DE LUNA Addresses Adolescent Sexuality. 1997-1998. A prime-time television series intended for urban women, men, and couples ages 15 to 19, "Piel de Luna" encouraged dialogue and debate on issues related to gender and human sexuality. The series aired 20 minutes weekly followed by 10 minutes of related discussion by teens around the country.

PROQUALI: Improving Reproductive Health Services in Brazil. 1996- (?). The PROQUALI strategy used an accreditation model to improve and verify the delivery of quality reproductive health services, as well as a communication campaign (targeting clinics and clients) to promote services by accredited providers.

VASECTOMIA: "Um Acto de Amor". 1988-89. This highly successful project used mass media to promote vasectomy services in three regional centers in Brazil, and was one of the first integrated mass media campaigns to promote vasectomy in Latin America.

VIDA DE RUA in Belo Horizonte: Educating Street Youth through Entertainment. 19(??). This project was developed to reduce HIV transmission among high-risk youth, with focus on HIV prevention skills and accurate knowledge of HIV transmission routes. The project created theatre troupes, an educational video of street life and the problems youth face daily, a comic book, and an educators manual, to reach street kids, community members, health educators, and local and state health officials.
