Activity Summary

HCP Namibia provides communication support to the national antiretroviral therapy (ART) and prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) programs.  Under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Social Services and with the involvement of the Positive Speakers’ Bureau at Lironga Eparu, HCP Namibia developed support materials for PLHA, existing and potential ART clients and PMTCT patients, and existing and potential caregivers.  The print materials are used to reinforce messages disseminated at the community level and reach a wider audience.  All documents are/will be available through MOHSS IEC, Directorate Special Programmes and Regional Offices.
