Client Provider Interaction Video Conferences

HCP and the INFO (Information and Knowledge for Optimal Health) Project, in conjunction with the World Health Organization (WHO), and USAID, hosted two events focused on client provider interaction (CPI) as it responds to clients’ family planning (FP) needs in HIV/AIDS service settings. Representatives from WHO and several countries presented their lessons learned and engaged in discussion with participants. The purpose of this event was to facilitate ongoing networking and dialogue among program managers, researchers, and others interested in improving CPI as it relates to clients’ FP needs within HIV/AIDS service settings. Better counseling on FP for HIV/AIDS clients can enhance client satisfaction and improve health outcomes.

The event was held via life teleconference with various viewing venues and a website with live telecast. Each event was followed by a two week-online discussion forum on the topic.
