About the Center for Communication Programs
The Center for Communication Programs (CCP) envisions a world, in which communication saves lives, improves health and enhances well-being. The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the oldest and top-ranked school of public health in the United States, established CCP in 1988 to focus attention on the central role of communication in health behavior change. CCP has active health communication programs in more than 30 countries and has played a pioneering role in communicating vital information about health issues like family planning, HIV/AIDS and malaria since its inception.
CCP extends the reach of science-based information to an international audience of health providers, program managers, policy makers, educators, and trainers who select our products and services based on our hard-earned reputation for excellence. Our online training courses couple cutting-edge technology with evidence-based information to present interactive content in a number of health areas.
