Population Commission (POPCOM)
Overview
Through the Communication and Advocacy for Population Issues and Development (CAPID), POPCOM seeks to generate greater understanding of population pressures negative effect on national development among policy makers and a higher degree of family planning acceptance among the public.
CAPID's innovative activities include:
- commuication and advocacy activities addressing the public
- social advocacy activities among national and local government officials
- JHU/PCS provides technical assistance in strategic communication and advocacy.
