Message from the Director
In April 2009, Dean Michael Klag of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health announced that Susan Krenn would assume leadership of CCP. Susan is now responsible for CCP's social and behavior change communication, advocacy, knowledge management, and research and evaluation programs. She brings over 23 years of health communication programming and excellent leadership and management abilities to her new position. As Dean Klag noted in his announcement; "Susan has more than risen through the ranks. She inspires people. She's a straight shooter. She's a team builder. She is deeply committed to CCP's vision and has been a creative, persistent, and effective driving force in the development and management of CCP's operations and programs." Please join us in welcoming Susan to her new position. You'll be hearing more from her when CCP launches its new website later this month. Former CCP director Dr. Jane Bertrand is returning to Tulane University School of Public Health, where she previously served on the faculty for 22 years. She will assume the Chair of Health Systems Management at Tulane in August 2009. |
